Made from high quality 4mm and 700gsm correx/coroplast, Cage Creations correx bases are the highest quality available. These are pre-scored and cut by professional machinery ensuring clean and precise folds. Supplied with velcro coins to secure the corners.
Our correx bases are waterproof, sturdy and easy to assemble. With a wipe clean finish they are easy to maintain and keep clean. When using a high quality fleece liner, such as those supplied by CandE Cosies, liquid shouldn't reach the base. However, with lower quality wadding based liners or for those who use woodshavings then an easy clean base is essential.
We know that correx can be quite plain to look at, and even though big piles of hay are nice for guinea pigs it's not so exciting for the owners.
With this in mind we recommend the addition of fabulous and colourful fleece liners and accessories such as hides, hammocks, tunnels and snuggle sacks. Go take a look on CandE Cosies Small Animal Accessories and fall in love with some gorgeous items.
We are a small family business located in the South West of England. 100% of our stock and business is located in the UK. This means that when you order from us it will be dispatched from a UK address. Additionally, should you require to return anything then it will also be to a UK address.
Amazing price, super simple assembly. My guinea pigs have so much space and are so happy! Thanks so much.
The cage base came really quick. Fits inside the panels perfectly, and the velcro stickers to hold the sides together with are great. Thanks so much!
I made my first C&C cage using grids bought online elsewhere but wasn’t brave enough to do the base myself. This fitted perfectly and came super quickly. Really impressed.
I bought 2 bases for my guinea pig cage and they're great, super easy to put together and the velcro works great
I have a click together cage/enclosure but it looked so messy and Guinea pigs constantly kicking their hay and poo out of it, this cage base is a lifesaver, not only does it look better it contains all their mess & so easy to clean.
The base arrived quickly, easily put up in seconds and love it
Really happy with the correx bases I purchased.
They’re brilliant quality and were so easy to bend together and even came with handy Velcro stickers for the corners.
I will most definitely purchase again from you and would highly recommend.
Thank you for a fabulous service.
Perfect, exactly the right size and what I was looking for. Didn't take long to arrive either considering the strikes at the moment.
So glad I found your website. This base is sturdy and fits the 2x4 C&C cage perfectly. No hay spillage. See photo - I only add the extra cardboard now because they love to chew it, rather than to stop hay flying out...
Thank you for providing everything I needed to make my guinea pig cage so easy to clean and sanitize.
The bases are great and make life so much easier.
Thank you for the speedy delivery, quick email reply’s to my queries. The correx is good quality, I liked the Velcro pads it came with. As we were extending an already existing cage, the Velcro came in handy!! The extension is the piece below the curtains, we cut into our existing cage and slid and Velcro’d the new price in place. It also came well packaged as well. Thanks, will order again.
It was my first time ordering from here but definitely won't be the last. The base fits perfectly and very simple to put together. Takes all the hassle out of measuring and scoring and trying to get it right myself, I probably would have gone through a lot of sheets before that happened. Was sent out quick and arrived in great condition. Great quality. Thanks 🙂
I ordered the 2x4 base and it’s perfect! I love how high the sides. Thank you so much! Would highly recommend :)
Hi Charlotte
Thank you for taking the time to leave a review and send a photo for the base you ordered from us. Great to hear such wonderful feedback and we're so pleased that you are happy with your purchase. We do feel the side heights are a great compromise with keeping the surroundings of the cage clean and allowing the piggies to see what's going on. Lower sides just don't make sense to us. Thanks again.
Kind regards
Dave
Really quick delivery and great product. Really cleverly packaged and quick to set up. Saved me so much time and bother of trying to measure and cut correx myself!
So easy to assemble and great quality. Easy to wipe down and clean and thick material.
This was my first order from this company so I wasn't sure what to expect. I needed to replace my guinea pig CC cage base. I chose a 4x2 black base and it arrived in good time neatly folded. My first impressions were that the coroplast is much thicker than the old base, so that was a pleasant surprise. Once I had set it up in the CC cage I could see it was sturdy and would provide a great base for my guinea pigs. I have now had it a few weeks and cleaned and refreshed the enclosure several times. It is easy to clean, and I hope lasts a good amount of time. I would recommend!
Really good quality base. Much easier than trying to make my own. Would recommend. Delivery was quick too.
Best correx base iv ever had will be buying more soon
Amazing quality, easy to put together. The perfect size. Delivered quickly. Also a very reasonable price. Thank you 🙂
Fabulous, fantastic.
Swift and efficient service.
Super fast delivery.
Delighted.
Highly recommended.
Will order again.
Fits perfectly and feels nice and sturdy
Easy to set up. Has high sides so if you use a litter tray they won’t be able to kick it out all over the floor. Good quality product. Would recommend.
Easy to assemble, perfect fit. Definitely would recommend for anyone.
Really good price compared to other websites, will order from here again however after time ive noticed the sticky velcro has started unsticking but thats okay i superglued it back down
Fits perfectly and exactly what I was after. Unfortunately it took a while to arrive and also took ages to get any response to my queries, but to be fair, as soon as I did get a response it was apologetic and my missing item got sent out immediately so no hard feelings :)
Exactly as described and arrived in good time.
Arrived in timely manner. Does the perfect job. Will be ordering again very soon.
In every way. Price, product and delivery. These pre-scored liners are perfect. This is a second we bought for travel. It packs flat so we can transport a cage flat in the car while the guineas are in their pet carrier. Velcro fasteners are really good too. Well thought out, brilliant product.
