Made from high quality 4mm and 700gsm correx/coroplast, Cage Creations correx bases are the highest quality available. These are pre-scored and cut by professional machinery ensuring clean and precise folds. Supplied with velcro coins to secure the corners.
Our correx bases are waterproof, sturdy and easy to assemble. With a wipe clean finish they are easy to maintain and keep clean. When using a high quality fleece liner, such as those supplied by CandE Cosies, liquid shouldn't reach the base. However, with lower quality wadding based liners or for those who use woodshavings then an easy clean base is essential.
We know that correx can be quite plain to look at, and even though big piles of hay are nice for guinea pigs it's not so exciting for the owners.
With this in mind we recommend the addition of fabulous and colourful fleece liners and accessories such as hides, hammocks, tunnels and snuggle sacks. Go take a look on CandE Cosies Small Animal Accessories and fall in love with some gorgeous items.
We are a small family business located in the South West of England. 100% of our stock and business is located in the UK. This means that when you order from us it will be dispatched from a UK address. Additionally, should you require to return anything then it will also be to a UK address.
I bought 6 of these for our Guinea pig family and I must say they are brilliant! Really sturdy and I love how easy they are to put together with the Velcro. Also the sides are nice and tall so it’s safer for the piggies and also they don’t have the urge to chew it so much! Price is excellent too! Communication from the seller was brilliant, he made sure that we received the parcel before we moved as well which was a bit tight on timing.
Couldn’t be happier and will definitely buy again!
Thank you.
As a first time piggy owner I shopped around for a base for our C&C cage and was not disappointed by this one. Much cheaper than other brands on the market and yes, you could probably buy the plastic cheaper at DIY stores and cut it yourself but the easy of this arriving already scored and ready to fold into position cut out a lot of time and stress. Our switch to a C&C cage has definitely improved the quality of our piggies living experience. Would definitely recommend Cage Creations and will be purchasing again from them in the future as quick and efficient customer service. Thank you Cage Creations.
Quick delivery and easily assembled with the scored lines ready to fold and velcro bits to secure into place. Very happy with the product and would recommend
Fantastic. Sides higher than the previous liner and much more sturdy and so easy to put together. Also it's one sheet not two over lapping.
Spot on !!!
Always buy my bases from here! Love how sturdy they are
I ordered 2 as discounted. Fitted C&C 2x5 perfectly as other sizes did.
Only White available which I prefer now. Easier to clean properly.
Dispatched and received in 3 days .
Very pleased.
our C&C cage has a perspex front. our piggies used to sit and watch the movies with us but the sides on this new base are a bit too high and too high for their drinks bottle too.
Will figure out how to roughly half the height of the sides for them.
These are really good, easy to assemble and give the pigs alot more room. The boys have cardboard and wood in with them so they haven't nibbled the plastic but the girls have as they don't have any wood. Overall these are a really good product and alot cheaper than other websites I've looked at I almost brought these for double the price.
Found this via a Google search in preparation for my daughters guinea pigs. Great quality, easy to fix in place. Been using it for around a week now. Fits my 5x2 c&c perfectly. Such good quality and by far the best price I could see. Have recommended on my Facebook guinea pig group to others.
Perfect size, 5 x 2 cage fitted perfectly. Arrived safely and packed really well.
The correx is amazing quality & really easy to fold up. It comes with handy Velcro stickers. I really like the depth of the correx too, great for if you don’t use fleece.
I had a question regarding postage & they sorted it for me straight away, great customer service! The postage was very fast & everything arrived in pristine condition.
I definitely recommend using this company for your c & c/correx needs!
Great buy! Super quick quick with delivery and great quality!
Will definitely use again
Great service, Very pleased with new correx base for guinea pigs . Fitted together well with Velcro stick on spots , slightly smaller than my previous base hence the 4 stars rather than 5 but very pleased and would definitely use again.
The base was half the price of the more well known company. And it’s brilliant, higher sides too so nothing gets shoved over the top. I’ve just ordered a second base so I can extend the cage. Very happy
Second time buying from here. Absolutely love these cages especially as the sides of the bases are tall so it keeps all the hay in!
Ordered larger base unit as expanding original from 4 X2 to 5x2. Base arrived quickly was very good quality and price was very good. Very pleased will use you again if we need any other supplies. Thank you for you help.
Great product and super quick delivery. Thank you.
The guinea pigs love their new pen base and we appreciate the great product and delivery communications. Would definitely buy from Cage Creations again.
Perfect will buy again
Amazing quality quick delivery
First off, delivery was super quick which was very much appreciated. Secondly, not having to measure my own correx, score and cut it etc but this, I just have to unfold and et voila, perfect base for my piggies c & c cage. Yes, it's more expensive than buying the correx but what you gain in time and the lack of stress is 100% worth it and I for one, and thankful for this service.
Absolutely delighted with product, fits perfect on my 5x2 grid cage. Love the price paid a lot more from a different company and added bonus higher sides.
Will be using Cage Creation again!
Thank you
Excellent for indoor cleaning and wetness retention.
Absolutely perfect , really good quality and true to size . The sides are nice and high so no poo or hay can get on the floor , easy to clean down and so much cheaper than any other bases I've seen . So happy with my purchase thankyou will be shopping here again !!♡
I honestly couldn’t be more happy with this. Size is perfect and so easy to assemble. Great idea to include the Velcro dots. We assembled this in less than 5 minutes. Really deep sides so hopefully my little lady will not nibble all the edges off like she did on my last one. Can highly recommend this product. Great value and was delivered very quickly too. Amazing!!
