Made from high quality 4mm correx that is pre-scored and cut for your convenience. Our correx is 700gsm weight which is higher than most other suppliers. Also supplied with velcro coins to affix the corners securely. Additional coins supplied to allow you to connect to another hay barn, making a network of tunnels and rooms.
Hay barns are a unique design to Cage Creations. These were designed as a place to put all the yummy hay your guinea pigs need to eat. This keep the hay contained, well as much as possible with guinea pigs, whilst allowing them to burrow and play. Perfectly sized to be used within C&C cages.
These are designed so that, using the supplied velcro coins, they can be joined together creating a little network of rooms full of hay or treats.
We know that correx can be quite plain to look at, and even though big piles of hay are nice for guinea pigs it's not so exciting for the owners.

My piggies love these. The favourite place to play / hide / eat / sleep. We can pile them high with hay so they can burrow and nest, easy to take outside and clean every few days. They fit in our c&c cage beautifully. A good purchase 👌

The hay barn is fantastic, great in size and very easy to clean. Cannot fault it. Both of my boys have had a nibble on it but it’s lasting well. Big enough for lots of hay and keeps the cage relatively clean. Would definitely recommend.
My 2 Guinea pigs love this hay barn, it not only keeps the hay tidy in their cage but they love jumping in and out of it and sleeping in it

I bought two of these to put treats in for my boys to play in at floor time. Great success, they love them and the bonus is, the floor stays a lot cleaner. I have 13 boys so the mess was considerable, they would chuck hay and forage everywhere, now it is 90% in the play barns
This hay barn is amazing! Keeps the hay all in one place, super sturdy and you can get so much hay inside! Our piggies love running in and out of it. It’s really solid so I can move it even with the piggies inside, added bonus in that it’s so easy to clean,
The hay barn is fantastic. Easy to assemble and sturdy enough to move while full of hay.
Took my two piggies about an hour to realise they could go inside and about a day to realise they could climb to the top of the hay pile!
Fits a full kilo bag of hay with a little room to spare. Does a good job of stopping my piggies spreading the hay all over their cage :)
This has gone down really well with the pigs and me. Certainly helps in containing some of the hay (they have other hay sources as well). A really good idea
This is a great sized hay box, which my piggies love to sit in! It can hold a lot of hay - but we all know piggies like to wee and poo on their hay, so I found that cleaning it out each day with fresh hay stops it from becoming smelly. Very easy to build and arrived quickly :)
Can't believe this works so well! I have bunnies rather than guinea pigs but they can still get into this hay barn and chomp away without it getting everywhere. Wish I'd found it before spending a lot more ££ on several wire feeders from the pet store which all ended up dislodged and played with making such a mess!
We love this so so much, I brought three one for each cage and it has been a hit with all 6 piggies! They have been running in and out of it all day :)
I wish this site had existed before we invested in a c&c cage for our three! They get this hay cube out during floor time otherwise all three of them scrabble to get in there while they are in their cage

Hi, my piggles like a roof over their heads! I assume it would be OK to use this upside down in a large tray with shavings in the bottom? I do similar with cardboard boxes.

Many thanks for your enquiry. Yes the Hay Barns can be used upside down though the hole will be a little higher off the ground but most piggies will cope with this OK.

Hello, I’m trying to come up with a solution to keep the hay from falling outside of the cage. Can two of these be connected together with the no middle wall ,so that it makes a rectangle (with no barrier between inside)?

Many thanks for your enquiry. The hay barns are designed to be used separately and also connected together. You can attach 2 so that the holes align allowing free passage between the 2 barns and still having 2 entrances/exits. In fact you can add multiple together in various configurations.
