Made from high quality 4mm correx that is pre-scored and cut for your convenience. Our correx is 700gsm weight which is higher than most other suppliers. Also supplied with velcro coins to affix the corners securely.
Kitchen areas are a fantastic addition to a C&C cage. They give you a dedicated area in the cage for placing feed and treats encouraging the piggies to use that area when eating. With a suitable substrate (fleece liner or woodshavings) the piggies will utilize the area more meaning spot cleaning around the rest of the cage is reduced.
Our kitchens come supplied with a protector that fits along the shallower, 5cm (2in) front edge to prevent nibbling.
Kitchens can also be used to cover an area of the cage floor meaning that you can use smaller liners to cover the remaining area. Alternatively you can use these on top of the fleece liner itself.
We know that correx can be quite plain to look at, and even though big piles of hay are nice for guinea pigs it's not so exciting for the owners.

I'd been searching for a UK supplier of these without success, until now. Really pleased with the product, easy to put together and helps keep the hay more contained so a bit less mess. The triangular shape is ideal for a corner, takes up less room than a rectangular one but still plenty of space for at least 2 piggies. I have a wooden cage 60 cm wide so narrower than a c&c and wasn't sure it would fit but given the exceptionally good price thought I'd give it a go. Length on one side was just a little too long for the width of the cage but I've been able to successfully tweak it to fit.
I imagine if you have piggies that don't fight for dominance all the time this would work really well, sadly I had to order the bigger one which has been even better for me personally. I will say I had no issues with the product itself! Just needed a bigger version than originally thought.

Quick service and good product. Very easy to assemble, our two guinea pigs love their new hay tray. Only recommended improvement is a chew protector for the two short sides of the tray as our girls have chewed it considerably after only 2 weeks. Other than that a great product!
I brought two of these to try and cut down on the amount of time it was taking me to clean cages, we have 2 seperate large cages for different genders. I'm so pleased I did as these keep the hay, majority of poo and wee in one section of the cage. This was helped save time, limit odours and the piggies love them. I would highly recommend these, especially for people who use fleece liners as they help make the liners last that little bit longer before the next full cage change. I would recommend lining these with some puppy pads before adding any hay or bedding, purely so that you don't have to empty the 'kitchen' everyday. Plus they cut down on the smell significantly.
