Made from high quality 4mm correx that is pre-scored and cut for your convenience. Our correx is 700gsm weight which is higher than most other suppliers. Also supplied with velcro coins to affix the corners securely.
Kitchen areas are a fantastic addition to a C&C cage. They give you a dedicated area in the cage for placing feed and treats encouraging the piggies to use that area when eating. With a suitable substrate (fleece liner or woodshavings) the piggies will utilize the area more meaning spot cleaning around the rest of the cage is reduced.
Our kitchens come supplied with a protector that fits along the shallower, 5cm (2in) front edge to prevent nibbling.
Kitchens can also be used to cover an area of the cage floor meaning that you can use smaller liners to cover the remaining area. Alternatively you can use these on top of the fleece liner itself.
We know that correx can be quite plain to look at, and even though big piles of hay are nice for guinea pigs it's not so exciting for the owners.

I used this as an semi-extension to separate the kitchen section from the main bedroom - as I was aware my girls were making their sleeping areas a right mess!! It was very easy to set up and after a week, it’s safe to say they love it and it definitely rely had made a huge difference to how much cleaner it is in the “sleeping” area. I say sleeping area sparingly because they do just fall asleep under the hay bag in the kitchen 🤣🤣
The lip also really helps stop the spread of hay getting into the other sections. 10/10!
Ordered the large kitchen/diner. My guinea pigs love it! and so do I. It keeps the cage much tidier as hay stays in the diner.

Absolutely amazing and my piggies love it. I had to cut it down slightly as was to big but still worth every penny.
I upgraded my cage from a 2x4 c&c to a 2x5 and wanted to fill the gap without spending on a whole new base. This kitchen was the perfect compromise as I wanted to add a food area anyway. It was simple to set up and the delivery was quick. Excellent price for the product too. The boys love it too and it’s made clean up so much easier especially with toileting.
The grazing canteen has made my life so much easier and my pigs are so much happier!!! Easy to assemble, quick to clean and lots of fun. Would highly recommend, especially if you’re looking for a simple way to expand your cage. It’s very spacious (one pig for size)!
I bought 2 of the Cavy Kitchens. One to use as a kitchen and one to use under a loft to make cleaning easier. They have really helped as I can now just slide them out for cleaning and the piggies love them!
Really easy to assemble, and it makes for a great cage addition for us as I wanted to do half fleece and half sawdust! Pigs seem fine with it too
Large chloroplast tray. Big enough for plenty of hay and a hide in the middle, for 2 pigs. Fits INSIDE chloroplast cage base, which my cages don't have, so I have adjusted it slightly.
I’m really pleased with my piggies kitchen area. It’s fantastic and the perfect size for my 4 piggies. It contains the hay mess nicely! Prompt delivery and fantastic product. Would love it in different colours though.
Thank you very much for the 2x2 kitchen. Quick delivery, easy to put together with good instructions to follow. The quality is excellent, a lot thicker than the proplast from Wickes. Easy to clean and I love the nibble guard on the step into it, protecting their little piggy feet.
I was in two minds about changing from all hemp bedding to half hay, half fleece but I'm so glad I did. My two boars have plenty of room in the kitchen area, they have loads of hay to eat and burrow into, and they tend to do their business in there too, which keeps the fleece liners (from sister site c&e cosies) fresher for longer.
Cleaning it out is so easy too, and there's a lot less waste to throw out/compost.

I bought one of these to go at one end of my 5X2 panel C&Ccage where there is a seperate 3X2 cage on top. It’s easy to lift out to make for easier cleaning.
