Construction

Made from high quality 4mm correx that is pre-scored and cut for your convenience. Our correx is 700gsm weight which is higher than most other suppliers. Also supplied with velcro coins to affix the corners securely.

What's a Cavy Kitchen?

Kitchen areas are a fantastic addition to a C&C cage. They give you a dedicated area in the cage for placing feed and treats encouraging the piggies to use that area when eating. With a suitable substrate (fleece liner or woodshavings) the piggies will utilize the area more meaning spot cleaning around the rest of the cage is reduced.

Our kitchens come supplied with a protector that fits along the shallower, 5cm (2in) front edge to prevent nibbling.

Kitchens can also be used to cover an area of the cage floor meaning that you can use smaller liners to cover the remaining area. Alternatively you can use these on top of the fleece liner itself.

Ideal Setup for the Grazing Canteen

  • This is approximately a 2x2 C&C sized kitchen so well suited to a medium sized cage such as a 2x5 or 2x6, 3x3 or 3x4 C&C Cage.
  • The Cosy Cafe can comfortably fit 4-5 adult guinea pigs so perfect for grazing.
  • If you have a loft  from us then this will impede the ramp. Therefore you will need to raise the bottom of the ramp a little or site the grazing canteen somewhere else.

What's Supplied

  • 1 Grazing Canteen base, folded for sending.
  • Protector strip for front edge
  • A minimum of 8 22mm velcro coins for affixing the edges
  • A guarantee that once unpacked you can have it assembled in only a few minutes (we managed it in 45 seconds)
