Express, as mentioned in the shipping options, refers to the shipping timescale of 1-3 working days. This does not include processing time.

We offer Free Shipping on orders above a certain value depending on location as follows:

England, Scotland and Wales: £55 and above

Northern Ireland and Isle of Man: £70 and above

International: No Free Delivery options available.

This is due to the varied shipping costs levied by Courier services for delivering to these locations. We continually monitor these to keep offering Free Delivery making us very competitive with our pricing and shipping.

International Delivery

Due to the size and weight of many of our items these will incur higher shipping costs. Be aware, all Taxes/Duties will be the responsibility of the customer.

Returns

If you are not happy with your item please contact us and then return it within 14 days. All items must be returned postage paid and in saleable condition. Refund of purchase price will be refunded by the same method as the payment was made. Postage and packaging will not be refunded.

If your item is faulty or we have sent you something different to what you ordered then please contact us first and the return it to us within 14 days and we will give you a full refund or replacement, including postage and packaging.

Standard 9*9 Door Grid Panel Description

The Door Grid panel is designed to slot into our connectors in a way that they can be used as doors along the sides, allowing easier access, or to connect with other grid panels to create lids, either full cage length or smaller lids to access lofts etc.

They have a special design allowing them to rotate by at least 180° whilst remaining firmly installed into the connector. Let your creativity take hold and you'll probably find ways of using these even we haven't!

This guide is to highlight the minimum requirements needed depending on the amount and gender of the guinea pigs. Boars always require more space due to their slightly more territorial behaviour. Although more than 2 boars are shown in the table below ideally never have more than 2 unless you are highly experienced with keeping guinea pigs. This is due to the higher chance of incompatible matches and fighting.

Additional Information and Guidance

Grid Imperfections - we import a large number of grids and so they may have some imperfections on the outer coating due to the nature of producing the grids. All grids supplied by Cage Creations are brand new from our trusted manufacturer.

Baby Guinea pigs and small rodents: Guinea pigs under 6 months of age or small sized mice and rats do require all cages to be baby proofed by adding extra grids around the sides or using our specially made baby proof grids.

Chewing and Destructive Pets - If you find your pets are excessively chewing and being destructive then your pets may be bored. Consider providing them with more stimulation like toys and more time outside of their enclosure. Pets go stir crazy just like we do sometimes and can show this through destructive behaviour. If your pets are chewing the correx you can purchase nibble guards which slip over the exposed edges where they most likely chew.

Really pleased!

Really pleased with it - it's the only C&C cage door I could find in the UK so I'm really glad to have found this before ordering elsewhere. I couldn't figure out how the clips work and didn't get a reply from the sellers via Etsy - this wasn't an issue however, since I just found some other clips that I was happier with and used those instead. Definitely very pleased!

Great doors, good price

Good price and perfect doors. Makes cleaning Guinea pigs a lot easier. Worth buying some metal clips as the plastic ones provided merely do the job of securing the cage shut and are difficult to reopen. Otherwise 10/10

Doors

Yes, I would recommend these, for a normal size 2 *4 these would have been ideal, to have a centre 2 grid wide opening. I have a 6 *2 so I got a bit creative with cable ties and made two, 2 grid wide doors, giving, me a 4 grid wide opening. TBH I also had some spare grids I used across the top of the cage in the corners, this made things a lot more rigid for when the doors were open. The doors do swing / hinge nicely.

I would recommend doors for ease of cleaning. It would have been nice if cage creations made a 2 grid wide bifold door, can I suggest this as future product?

Good size. Does the job but was just slightly smaller than my original grid panels I have. Was easily fixed together with cable ties.

Ordered extra grids to extend and add on to my original 4x2 cage that I got from another company. I’ll definitely be ordering from them again. I ordered the standard grids and the door/lid grids and all fit great. The bases look very sturdy too so I think I’ll swap my old one out as well.

High hopes, but not quite there yet

I've been looking for a door for my boy's cage- they tend to have free roam of my flat but it's good to be able to shut them in.
It fits nice but compromises the structural integrity of the whole cage when open. Not sure how the white plastic bits fit either.
Might be best as a small lid for adding hay to their set up.

Essential if you have a 2x2 loft

I have a 2x6 cage with a 2x2 double ramp loft that is on top of a table, without the door I would never be able to clean under the loft area properly.

Highly recommend these to anyone that needs easy access to their cage. I have a tiered c and c cage with lofts which is difficult to clean out, these doors make so much difference!

the black door grids enable me to easily let my pigs out for floor time, no messing just unclip and go. Shame they are not made in white but I guess you cant have everything. Excellent product.
